Member-owners and extended supporters, it’s that time of year again for the Reno News & Review Best of Northern NV contest! The voting period is Aug. 11 through Sept. 30.
Thank you with the furtherance of the GBCFC’s purpose and mission in last year’s recognition. If you haven’t already done so, please take the time to vote for your GBCFC this year (and, it doesn’t have to be solely in food/Best Produce–e.g. Best Local Business, Best Local Place to Work/Volunteer, Best Facebook page, Best Volunteer, Best local Web site, etc.)
And, while doing so, please don’t forget to extend the kudos to our local farmers, and the local organizations and businesses that buy local–from your Great Basin Community Food Co-op!
I have visited the store and am very impressed with the entire project. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and considerate. The produce is great! the meat so tasty! Farmers pat yourselves on the back–you are wonderful! Thank you all and will see you very soon.
