Goals
- Offer an alternative to profit-driven food systems, nurturing an atmosphere of genuine human interaction that honors participation, equality, trust and respect and encourages personal responsibility.
- Source wholesome food and other goods from growers, vendors, and artisans within our local foodshed using fair and just buying practices
- Connect farms to forks by making real food accessible to more people
- Provide education about the collective and consensus decision-making processes
- Promote environmental and social stewardship that encourages alternative transportation, supports a neutral waste facility and uses closed loop practices
- Foster a work environment that is respectful, nonhierarchical and diverse, providing a livable wage to a kind and knowledgeable staff
