Becoming a Member-Owner
The Great Basin Food Co-op (GBCFC) is open to the public every day of the week from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Yearly memberships cost $15, payable for up to ten (10) years. The ten (10) year membership costs $150 and can be paid all at once or split up into yearly installments of $15. The membership fee covers one adult per household, children under the age of 18 can use their parent’s membership.
The GBCFC accepts food stamps, credit cards, local checks and cash.
There are many benefits to becoming a member at the GBCFC, here are just a few:
- You can shop at your local food co-op and take part in supporting a local food system.
- You are eligible to become a volunteer member-worker and receive additional discounts.
- You can vote at any GBCFC election.
- You are entitled to receive GBCFC newsletters.
- You may place bulk special orders at wonderful prices!
- Members pay 10% less than non-members on all in-store purchases.
In addition to the personal perks, when you sign up for a membership at The Great Basin Community Food Co-op you are helping our organization to build the necessary capital that it needs for day-to-day maintenance and future growth.
