Local Food
(AKA GBCFC Farm Bureau of Investigations)
The goal of the Local Food Committee is to Support Local Farmers. We meet monthly to brainstorm and work on local food issues pertinent to the GBCFC, plan Local Food Committee Events, and serve as a bridge between farmers and the public through bios, farm tours, and seedling sales.

Finance
Maintains weekly finance information for the co-op, is in charge of all banking and payment to our distributors, paid staff, and maintenance bills. Creates projected earnings and budgets. Member Relations
The Member Relations Committee stays in touch with our members and takes care of your suggestions, questions and concerns. E-mail memberrelations@greatbasinfood.coop to get involved!
Outreach and Education
Creates the quarterly newsletter, works with members to educate and network, plans events such as film viewings, solar cook-offs, farmer discussion panels, hoophouse workshops, etc. E-mail outreach@greatbasinfood.coop to get involved!
Special Orders
Collects the weekly special orders and processes them. Notifies the person who placed the order if a certain product is out. Maintains current forms, sends out the weekly produce list, etc. E-mail orders@greatbasinfood.coop to get involved!
