Taking one of our Aitachi’s lambs out to Fallon to get a selenium shot from Norris Albaugh. This little guy got butted or something traumatic happened to him one day and he was found on his side unable to get up. Norris says that Selenium is a cofactor for a variety of minerals and nutrients and sometimes a powerful dose can help with nerve damage and muscle memory. In his case, remembering how to get his front and back legs for underneath him in order to get up. We are so lucky to have the Albaugh’s and the Holleys in our Northern Nevada ranching community, always ready to lend advice or a helping hand.
