Who doesn’t love a good Bloody Mary to start out the weekend? And with 4th of July weekend on deck, it starts on Thursday right??? 😛
Rusty Skillet Ranch has come up with their own version, featuring of course, their Reno NV raised quail eggs! They packed in the protein on this one, with hard boiled quail eggs and their all favorite, bacon – “cause what isn’t better with bacon! It has a nice smokey flavor, but still very refreshing” – Jaci Chambers, Rusty Skillet Ranch co-owner shares here favorite Bloody Mary Recipe:
This recipe makes 2, cause my mama taught me how to share
Ingredients:
2 oz Vodka
4 oz Tomato Juice
1/8 tsp mustard powder
1/8 tsp celery salt
1/8 tsp smoked paprika
1/8 tsp smoked salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 of a lime
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
4 dashes Tabasco
1/8 tsp prepared horse radish
sprig or two of cilantro (don’t skip this!) Add all of the above ingredients in a cocktail shaker with some ice. Shake the crap out of it! Pour over a glass of ice and garnish with bacon and quail egg skewers. We also added some green olives and the classic stick of celery.
